Few hours after ex-Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, was dethroned, the Kano State Government has announced a new emir.
He is Alhaji Bichi Aminu Ado Bayero, the son of the former Emir, Ado Bayero.
He was until his appointment, Bayero was the Emir of Bichi.
“The appointment takes immediate effect,’’ Alhaji Usman Alhaji, the Secretary to the State Government said.
