Nasir el-Rufai, the immediate past governor of Kaduna State, arrived at the Kaduna State High Court on Tuesday.
The former governor is expected to proceed from there to the Federal High Court in Kaduna for the hearing of his bail application.
His court appearance follows his release from the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to enable him attend his mother’s burial.
Persecondnews reported that the court had on March 24 adjourned the bail proceedings untill March 31 after arraigning the former governor on charges bordering on fraud and money laundering.
