Horror as loverboy lures girl to his house, slaughters her for money rituals in Ogun

A young man and suspected ritualist, who specializes in luring beautiful girls to his house and enticing them with irresistible huge sums of money, has butchered and dismembered his latest victim in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

The suspect, whose identity is given by the police as Taiwo Yemitan, was busted by the combined efforts of police, and local security outfits – Agbekoya and vigilance groups.

Persecondnews gathered that a fresh human head and dismembered body parts of the female victim was found with him in Lafenwa area of Abeokuta.

The 45-year-old suspect was arrested at 1:40am on Sunday, December 22 at his home located at the back of Atinsola petrol station in Sanni area of the state capital.

The suspected ritualist has already confessed to the crime and that he knew the deceased identified as Darasimi, whom he lured to his house with the intent to kill her.

He gave the names of his partners in crime as Kehinde Yemitan and one Kazeem.

Confirming the incident, Ogun State Police command’s spokeswoman, SP Omolola Odutola, said in a statement in Abeokuta on Sunday, that police acted on a tip off from the state local security outfits, the Agbekoya and the Vigilante operatives before the suspect was apprehended.

“The suspect admitted to knowing the deceased identified as Darasimi, who he lured to his residence with the intent to kill her.

“He confessed to the murder, naming two other individuals, Kehinde Yemitan and one Kazeem, second name unknown as accomplice in the criminal act. Their intention was to sell the victims head and other body parts,” she said.

She stated that the girl’s dismembered body had been deposited at the State Hospital, Ijaye, Abeokuta morgue.

Odutola said police have launched a man-hunt for the accomplices and also to locate the deceased’s relatives.

According to her, the suspect would be transfered to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Eleweran, Abeokuta for a thorough investigation.

Odutola recalled a similar incident which occured early in the year, where a suspect, Azeez Adebayo confessed to killing three ladies whom he and his accomplice lured through hook up arrangements.

According to the police spokesperson, Adebayo and his syndicate confessed that they lured young beautiful ladies from a HOOK UP SITE called “MY CHAT”, by enticing them with juicy amount of money.

“He noted that after bargaining and negotiating on a price, the ladies would follow up by visiting the indicated address given to them, and the journey eventually lead to their untimely death,” she said.

Odutola warned young ladies to stop “hookup” and be contended, saying that high number of girls on “hookup” are slaughtered for rituals.

Young ladies are advised to be wary of negative entrapment of online dating sites but rather utilize the positive face of social media to advance their personal safety, by remaining cautious and alert, she said.

She urged parents to also take care of their daughters and also give them good training in order not to fall victim to money ritualist.
