The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State and movie producer, Funke Akindele, has lost her mother, Adebanjo Akindele.
A statement from one of the siblings of actress-turned-politician on Tuesday evening disclosed that their mother passed on Tuesday.
The statement signed by Akindele’s older sister, Olubunmi Akindele didn’t state the cause of their mother’s death but stated that she had passed away.
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwolu, has condoled with her while friends and colleagues of Akindele in their condolences, urged her to stay strong.
