President Bola Tinubu has hosted a private high-level engagement with the extended leadership of the Senate at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where matters of urgent national importance dominated the agenda.
The closed-door session produced substantial outcomes on several critical issues facing the country, with participants describing the resolutions as wide-ranging and aimed at addressing immediate national priorities.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio led the delegation, which included Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro.
Also present were Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia North Senatorial District, Sen. Adamu Aliero of Kebbi Central Senatorial District, Sen. Danjuma Goje of Gombe Central Senatorial District, and Sen. Abdul Ningi of Bauchi Central Senatorial District.
Though specific details of the pact remain under wraps, the session reportedly produced decisive mandates aimed at tackling the nation’s most pressing challenges.
