Four years after, Pres. Buhari reconstitutes NNPC six-member board

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has got a new board following the expiration of the tenure of board members appointed in 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The President announced the reconstituted board of the corporation in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina.

The appointees are Senator Magnus Abe (South-south), Dr Stephen Dike (South -east), and Chief Pius Akinyelure (South-west), Mohammed Lawal (North-west), Tajudeen Umar (North-east) and Adamu Mahmood Attah (North-central).

The tenure of the new board is three years.

Malam Mele Kyari is the Group Managing Director of NNPC.
