Ex-Ogun Senator, Buruji Kashamu, dies from COVID-19 complications

A former Ogun Senator,  Buruji Kashamu, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has died of complications from COVID-19 in Lagos.

Buruji, who represented Ogun East (ljebu/Remo) in the National Assembly up till May 2019, died at the First Cardiology Consultant in Lagos on Saturday.

Ex-Sen. Murray Ben-Bruce and the Ogun State Chairman of PDP, Sikirulai Ogundele, confirmed Kashamu’s death.

“The entire members of PDP symphatize with the family of Sen. Buruji Kashamu.

“He died of Coronavirus complications in Lagos today,” he told Persecondnews, describing his  death as untimely.

Ogundele, who expressed grief over his death, said party members and politicians across the country would miss him.

He prayed to God to grant the family and the party the fortitude to bear the loss.
