The Abacha family has been thrown into mourning following the trothling of their daughter by yet-to-be apprehended gunmen.
Bukar Abacha, lawmaker representing Ngala constituency in the Borno House of Assembly, lost his daughter to death right at her residence in Gidan Dembe area of Maiduguri, Persecondnews reports.
The lawmaker’s daughter’s body was found with her legs and hands tied to her back.
The State Police Command’s Police spokesman, DSP Kamilu Sani, confirmed the incident on Wednesday.
He said: “We actually received a report on the killing, but whether it was gunmen that committed the culpable homicide or not is yet to be ascertained please.
“The report we received was that the incident occurred at about 0700hrs.
“The police have already commenced a discreet investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the killing as well as arrest and bring the perpetrators to book.”
