… court directs party to deny Oshiomhole access to party secretariat in Abuja.
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Adams Oshiomhole, has been suspended from office.
An interim suspension was slammed on Oshiomhole on Wednesday on the orders of a Federal High Court, Jabi, Abuja, following a ruling on an application for an interlocutory injunction brought by some party members.
In the ruling, Justice Danlami Senchi, ordered Oshiomhole to remain on suspension pending the determination of the main suit.
The court held that the party wrongfully continued to retain him as its National Chairman while he is under suspension as a member of the party.
Oshiomhole should stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the party, Senchi ordered, directing the party to stop for now from acknowledging him as such.
The judge directed APC to deny Oshiomhole access to the national party secretariat in Abuja.
