In Pictures: Jennifer Eliogu performing at the Per Second News ‘Celebration of Philanthropy’

Dignitaries, guests were treated to a live performance by actress and singer Jennifer Eliogu in an exclusive display at the Southern Sun hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos on Wednesday.

Eliogu was the star performer at the Per Second News ‘Celebration of Philanthropy’. When the singer took to the stage she did not disappoint the enthusiastic audience, which included the Heirs Holdings and UBA Chairman, Mr Tony Elumelu, who was awarded the ‘2017 Philanthropist of the Year’ Award.

The singer sent guests into a frenzy with her energetic and suave performance of great tunes.

She sang a peace song that talks about the importance of peace in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. The crowd could not help but dance to the soothing tunes being played by the music star.

It was a day to honour Mr Elumelu as the 2017 Philanthropist of the Year by Per Second News in recognition of his support to individuals, organisations, and charities.

Chairman Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, Mr Tony Elumelu, Former spokesman to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr Reuben Abati, Mr Emeka Mba, former DG National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Mr Kalyana Sundaram, MD/CEO of Transcorp Power, Mr Sunny Anene, MD/CEO United Capital Asset Management, Mr Peter Ashade, MD/CEO African Prudential, Adesimbo Ukiri, CEO AVON HMO, Mrs Parminder Vir, CEO of the Elumelu foundation, newspaper publishers and CEOs of financial institutions were dignitaries who graced the occasion.
