Yul Edochie reveals causes of premature deaths, advocates return to traditional practices

Yul Edochie, a prominent actor, has ignited a thought-provoking conversations about the underlying causes of premature deaths, especially among young individuals.

He attributed the unfortunate events to society’s disregard for traditional practices.

Taking to Instagram, Edochie shared his thoughts, expressing concern that the rising number of deaths among people in their twenties, thirties, and forties is alarming and not a normal phenomenon.

According to Edochie, this disturbing trend can be linked to the abandonment of indigenous customs and traditions in favor of adopting foreign religious practices.
He explained that many of the spirits traditionally worshipped, which once protected people and their lands, have been abandoned and now harbour anger due to neglect.

He urged his followers to embrace the purity and power of their ancestral traditions as a means of restoring balance.

Edochie wrote: “Too many premature deaths these days. Young people dying in their twenties, thirties, forties. It is not normal. It is happening because we have abandoned our traditional ways and embraced the ways of ‘oyinbo’ people. The spirits that protect many of us and our lands are angry because they have been relegated. We must go back to our traditional ways, which are very pure and powerful.”

“Life is a phase that passes by,” Edochie noted.

“Shed wickedness and hatred because none of us will live on earth forever. Spread love, joy, and peace. Lend helping hands and cherish moments with one another.”

The actor, who is also known for his personal advocacy, further showcased his belief in answered prayers through a heartfelt post about his second wife, Judy Austin.

Sharing a video of the couple displaying affection, Edochie celebrated his bond with Judy, referring to her as evidence of divine blessings in his life.
