It has been three years since Nigerian actress Ini Dima-Okojie went under the knife to remove fibroids.

The delectable actress has painfully shared an update with her followers and fans about her ongoing health challenges and her plans moving forward, as she announced that the fibroids have returned.
She explained: “I want to share something important with you today. If you’ve been following me, you probably know that before the end of 2020, I had a mastectomy, which is an invasive surgery to remove fibroids.

“The surgery was successful; my doctor removed every single fibroid, and I healed well. It’s been three years since the surgery, and unfortunately, the fibroids are back.”

Acknowledging the emotional toll of this setback, she admitted that the news has been hard on her, adding that she has no intention of undergoing another surgery to have them removed.

Ini expressed her gratitude for the support she has received from her fans and loved ones.

She highlighted the importance of mental strength and resilience in dealing with such health challenges.

“The love and support from all of you have been my anchor. It’s not easy, but knowing I have a strong community behind me makes it a bit more bearable,” she said.

The actress also emphasized the significance of regular medical check-ups and self-awareness.

“I cannot stress enough how important it is to listen to your body and seek medical advice when something feels off. Early detection and treatment are crucial in managing health issues like fibroids,” she advised her followers.

Despite the recurrence of fibroids, she said she remained optimistic about the future.

She shared her plans to explore alternative treatments and lifestyle changes to manage her condition.

“I’m looking into various non-surgical options and making lifestyle adjustments that could help in managing the fibroids. This journey is far from over, but I’m determined to keep fighting and stay positive,” she concluded.
