Cesc Fabregas’ Como stunned Manchester United 4-1 to climb sixth in the Champions League after three games, as Nico Paz curled a beauty into the far corner two minutes in while holding 64% possession and limiting Carrick’s side to three shots and 0.10 xG.
Despite United showing more intensity after the restart, Como doubled their lead in the 49th minute through Anastasios Douvikas after a Paz assist before the Argentine added his second of the night in the 57th minute for 3-0.
Jacobo Ramon sealed the rout with a fourth in the 76th minute before Joshua Zirkzee pulled one back for a 4-1 scoreline that secured Como’s second ever Champions League victory in dominant fashion.
