The Defence Headquarters, Abuja, has released a list of individuals, numbering 97 and declared them wanted for allegged acts of terrorism, violent extremism, and secession threats against the country.
Maj.-Gen. Edward Buba, the Director of Defence Media Operations, verified the identities and images in Abuja on Friday evening.
The North East, North West, North Central, and South East zones are home to wanted individuals, terrorists/bandits, and insurgency commanders.
Simon Ekpa, the factional leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is a prominent figure among those being looked for.
There were 43 persons in the North West Zone, 33 in the North East, and 21 in the North Central and South East zones who were listed as sought.
Alhaji Shingi, Malindi Yakubu, Boka, Dogo Gide, Halilu Sububu, Ado Aliero, Bello Turji, Dan Bokkolo, Labi Yadi, Nagala, Saidu Idris, Kachalla Rugga, and Sani Gurgu are a few of the leaders of the bandits and terrorists.
Abu Zaida, Modu Sulum, Baba Data, Ahmad, Sani Teacher, Baa Sadiq, Abdul Saad, Kaka Abi, Mohammad Khalifa, Umar Tella, Abu Mutahid, Mallam Mohammad, Mallam Tahiru Baga, Uzaiya, and Ali Ngule are some of the other terrorist leaders.
