Abia Assembly Minority Whip congratulates opponent in Saturday’s polls, thanks constituents

The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Dr. Mike Ukoha,
has expressed gratitude to the people for supporting him in Saturday’s State House of Assembly election.

The lawmaker said although his opponent of the Labour Party won the election, he remains grateful to the good people of Arochukwu State Constituency and all his teaming supporters. who sincerely supported and came out in their numbers to vote for him.

“I remain grateful to the good people of Arochukwu State Constituency and all my teaming supporters, who sincerely supported and came out in their numbers to vote for me,” Ukoha said in a statement given to Persecondnews on Sunday.

The statement was signed by Mr Chimezie Okoroafor, the Media Assistant to the Minority Whip.

He said in the spirit of sportsmanship, he had since congratulated Mr. Uchenna Okoro Kalu of the Labour Party who won the election and wished him well.

“I’m grateful to God and the people of Arochukwu State Constituency for giving me the chance to contribute my quota towards the development of the constituency.”
