In what looks like Federal Government’s readiness to contain banditry and criminalities, President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday has directed security operatives to shoot anyone with AK-47.
According to presidential spokesman Garba Shehu, the president reportedly gave the order in an interview on the Hausa service of the BBC.
“The president has ordered security forces to go into the bushes and shoot whoever they see with sophisticated weapons like AK-47.
“He ordered that whoever is seen with terrible weapons at all should be shot immediately,” he said.
