Persecondnews recalls that Omijje Oju Mi rose to prominence through her powerful and emotional ministrations, often marked by deep expressions of worship that moved congregations to tears during live performances.
Her stage name, Omijje Oju Mi, meaning “tears of the eyes” was drawn from her breakout and widely cherished song of the same title, a track that firmly established her presence in the Nigerian gospel music space.
Through that song and many other ministrations, she became known for delivering worship sessions filled with raw emotion, spiritual depth, and a strong sense of divine encounter.
Beyond her music, colleagues described her as a deeply private individual who carried her faith with quiet strength, even in moments of intense personal hardship.
