Veteran actor, Kayode Olaiya, also known as Aderupoko, has refused to be drawn into any competition pitching colleagues against one another, choosing instead to focus on gratitude for those who have played key roles in his life and career.

While reacting to his relationship with Kunle Afolayan and Ibrahim Chatta, both of whom he has worked with over the years, the Nollywood star spoke warmly about the support they have shown him.

Aderupoko did not hold back in expressing his appreciation, describing both men as rare individuals who have stood by him at different stages of his journey.

“Kunle Afolayan and Ibrahim Chatta are two of a kind. They take care of me,” he said.

The veteran actor revealed that Kunle Afolayan has remained consistent in supporting him financially.

“Kunle Afolayan pays me monthly stipend and always makes sure I am fine,” he said.

He also praised Ibrahim Chatta for his generosity and concern whenever they cross paths.

“Anywhere Ibrahim Chatta sees me, he always takes care of me,” Aderupoko added.

Beyond mere professional ties, the actor credits the duo’s mentorship and care with helping him navigate the industry’s hurdles and reshaping his perspective on creative partnerships.

Both Kunle Afolayan and Ibrahim Chatta are widely respected figures in the Yoruba movie industry, known not only for their talent but also for supporting upcoming acts.
