Awujale of Ijebuland to be Laid to Rest Monday, July 14 – Ogun Govt

The Ogun State Government has announced the burial rites for the late Awujale of Ijebu land, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.

The burial will take place today, July 14 at Ogbagba Court, Igbeba, Ijebu-Ode, at 4.00pm.

Persecondnews reported that the monarch joined his ancestors on Sunday, July 13, at the age of 91.

A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, which announced the burial rites, urged residents of the state to remember the family of the late monarch in their prayers.
