Just in: Ex-President Buhari’s burial postponed to Tuesday, July 15 in Daura

Former President Muhammadu Buhari will now be buried on Tuesday and not today, as earlier reported.

Katsina Deputy Governor Lawal Jobe announced the postponement of the burial to reporters on Monday afternoon.

Jobe had arrived at the Daura residence of the former President by 11.27am to inspect the site for the final burial.

Persecondnews reported that Buhari passed away on Sunday afternoon in a London private clinic.

A presidential delegation led by Vice President Kashim Shettima had arrived London on Monday morning to bring Buhari’s body home.
