DJ Cuppy dedicates her life to Christ, says new chapter begins

Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, has announced that she has dedicated her life to Christ.

The 31-year-old star took to social media to announce the life-changing decision, describing it as the “best decision” she has ever made.

According to Cuppy, this spiritual journey has culminated in her baptism, which she emphasised is more than just a ceremony—it’s a profound transformation.

Reflecting on her spiritual rebirth, DJ Cuppy expressed that she now sees herself as a “new creation” born again in the grace of God.

She explained that her decision to fully commit to her faith has redefined her understanding of life, emphasizing that “the way to live is actually to die”—a reference to the Christian concept of dying to one’s old self to be reborn in Christ.

Although she said she remains the same vibrant DJ Cuppy, her outlook on life has shifted.

“Every beat, every moment, has a deeper meaning now,” she shared.

“Each day, I’m learning to live with intention, guided by something bigger than myself,” she said.

Fans and followers, many of whom view her journey as an inspiring testament to the power of faith, have responded with support and admiration for her decision to embrace Christianity more fully.

For Cuppy, this chapter marks a significant milestone in her life—a shift from the pursuit of worldly success to a life centred on spiritual growth and fulfilment.

DJ Cuppy also took the opportunity to express her gratitude, stating, “Thank You, Father, for Your Salvation.”
