The Presidency on Thursday denied report that the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun proposed N105,000 as new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.

The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr.Bayo Onanuga, said in an X post that the story is false.

“The Honorable Minister of Finance and coordinating minister of the economy, Wale Edun has not proposed N105,000 minimum wage. The contrary story being disseminated is false,” he said.
