Peter Okoye to APC governors: Naira redesign didn’t bring hardship, it has lived with133 million Nigerians for 8 years

Peter Okoye of the Psquare music group has blasted the governors elected on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) for blaming the current biting economic condition and hardship on the naira-redesigned policy, saying Nigerians have been “living in hell” for almost eight years.

Per Seconds News recalls that APC governors after an emergency meeting with the Chairman of the party on Sunday, called on President Muhammadu Buhari to respect the “order of the Supreme Court in the interest of common Nigerians” who are daily groaning under the yoke of the new policy and scarcity of cash.

But Okoye, who is one of the leading entertainers rooting for Peter Obi-for-President in the forthcoming elections, criticized the governors, saying APC subjected Nigerians to multi-dimensional poverty for the past eight years.

In his reaction, Okoye maintained that the unnecessary desperation and sudden love for Nigerians with five days to election by APC will not sway the minds of the people to vote in a ‘failed party.”

According to him, Nigerians know the truth and they will act in five days’ time.

He said:”Dear APC Governors, are u telling us that hardship started in Nigeria when CBN redesigned the Naira?

“The same APC that has put over 133 million Nigerians in multidimensional poverty in its 8 years. It’s just 5 days to elections. What’s with the desperation? We know the truth!”
