A noonday fire has engulfed the headquarters of Kano State Police Command headquarters with many offices and files razed.
The office is located at Bompai in Nasarawa council area.
The flame which hit the one-storey building of the command, however, spared Police Commissioner Mamman Dauda’s office.
It was gathered that the top floor of the building was gutted by the inferno on Saturday.
Witnesses said the fire which started at 2.00 pm had affected structures from the Provost Office down to the office of the Deputy Police Commissioner.
Persecondnews learnt that the cause of the mysterious fire is still unknown.
Firefighters both from the federal and state have been deployed to put out the fire.
