Bandits Attack Kuje Again, Abduct 18 year old Son, Injure Father

Bandits have again struck in Kuje Town, headquarters of  Kuje Area Council of the FCT
Kuje and Abaji Local Councils of the federal capital territory have of late been in the news not for good reasons but for bandit attacks and abduction of  some residents of the area Councils
On Monday Morning,, precisely 12:15 am the bandits struck again, this time around abducted 18 year old  foster son of the Proprietor of the Supreme Kids Academy, Victor Ozigi in Zone A, Anguwan Gade Extension of Kuje Abuja
His father, Abdulsalam Ozigi was reported injured in the process.
Eye witness, account says the armed bandits stormed the Community at about 12.15 am Monday morning and invaded the residence of the Ozigis,  gained entrance into the house and abducted Victor to an unknown destination.

While  calm has returned to the affected area with everyone going about his or her lawful business, spokesperson of the FCT Police Command Josephine Adeh was yet to pick her calls  as at the time of filling this report
Recalled that residents of Abuja  have been living fears and apprehension since November 2021 when bandits’ stormed staff quarters of the university of Abuja and  abducted two lecturers and their families for ransom
The kidnapped lecturers where however released within a week but the gunmen have shifted their operational base to the continuous forests bordering Nasarawa and Kogi states
While men of the FCT Police Command have raided the area severally, the bandits’ have continued with their terror threat
