The mysterious disappearance and death of Micahel Usifo Ataga, the CEO of Super TV and Director with Super, who resided in Banana Island on Lagos island, has been unraveled with fresh finding pointing to robbery and assassination by his “bodacious” side chick.

The 50-year-old Ataga was reported missing on June 13 by concerned friends and family after he could not be seen or reached.

His wife and children who reside in Abuja, had expressed fears about his whereabouts.

After fruitless search for Ataga, his corpse was found in a flat in Lekki Phase 1 with multiple stabs.

It was also learnt that after several millions of naira was withdrawn from his account.

Ataga, who is married to a manager in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation ( NNPC), had met a lover about two weeks ago.

He had rented an Airbnb in Lekki, Lagos where they both checked into before the unfortunate incident.

Friends, family members, the police and DSS operatives from Abuja through the efforts of the wife, tracked down the owner of the Airbnb, who received payment from the side chic’s bank account into which Ataga had previously made a transfer for the payment.

“The apartment was broken into and that was where he was found dead with multiple stabs in his neck, chest and thigh.

“About N5 million had been withdrawn from his account before he was killed

“The side chic carried out the murder after she must have drugged him as the security guards at the rentals said no 3rd party came visiting Ataga and the side chic besides a dispatch rider who brought “something” for the girl.

“The girl was tracked down and arrested alongside the owner of the Airbnb,” police sources said.

Lagos State Police Command has yet to comment on the development as at press time as efforts by Persecondnews to reach the Police Public Relations Officer were unsuccessful.
