Gov. Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has been disqualified from contesting the July 22 governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Pastor Osagie Ize- Iyamu, Dr. Pius Odubu and Hon. Osaro Obazee were, however, cleared.
The verdict was handed down by APC Screening Committee for Edo State Governorship election.
Other aspirants disqualified are Matthew Iduoroyekemwen and Egnr. Chris Ogiemwonyi.
According to the committee, Obaseki was disqualified over alleged discrepancies in his educational and NYSC certificates.
