Basil Agboarumi has been announced as the new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) six months after he had held the job in an acting capacity.
Agboarumi joined the company as a pioneer Head of the Public Affairs Unit back when SAHCOL was a subsidiary of the Nigeria Airways Limited and rose through the ranks to become the managing director. Having held positions such as General Manager where he was put in charge of the Corporate Communications & Information Technology (IT) Departments of the the company until his new appointment, new MD is bringing 18 years experience in leadership, a strong background in government, corporations and nonprofit organizations to the company.
SAHCOL is an Aviation Ground Handling company, offering services in Passenger Handling, Ramp Handling, Cargo Handling and Warehousing, Aviation security, Baggage Reconciliation, Crew Bus and Executive Lounge services and other related Ground Handling services.
