Chikeze Eze didn’t quite have what it took to win “American Idol” and his marriage didn’t have what it took to last — he’s getting divorced.
According to court documents in the US, Eze and his wife, Linda Iruke, are splitting after a little less than seven years of marriage. The couple was married on July 10, 2010, but separated in June 2017.
They have two young children together — a 5-year-old son named Elijah and a 7-month-old daughter named Gabrielle.
Eze finished tenth on the seventh season of “American Idol.” He was eliminated after singing “If Only for One Night” by Luther Vandross.
