Buba Galadima, A Long Time Buhari Associate, Says APC Has Failed As A Party

Abuja – A former political associate of President Muhammadu Buhari, Engineer Buba Galadima has expressed worries why the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is yet to proscribed the All Progressives Congress (APC) having failed to hold statutory meetings and conventions of the party as well as violated all known political ethos and practices.

Galadima also said that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has written its obituary ahead of the 2019 election and merely waiting to publish it.

Galadima, who is a member of the Board of Trustees (BoT), of the governing APC, pointed said that the Buhari administration has finished its course and therefore come to the end of the road.

The APC Chieftain, who stated these when he appeared on a Television Programme, “Focus Nigeria,” a current affairs programme of the Africa Independent Television (AIT), declared that the ruling party is merely waiting to be swept out of power.

He dared the APC government to arrest him, stressing that if they do, that will be the end of their mission.

According to him; “I worked for Buhari for 14 years during which I told him the truth and spoke correctly about him and not booth licked him because we worked for him.

“I think the major problem with this administration, particularly with the leaders, is their lack of capacity to reflect and apologise even when they go wrong.

“The problem of the APC has to do with exclusion, lack of consultations in the party and the government and lack of public relations.”

Galadima explained that the Buhari he used to know is no longer the same person as President Buhari in office as he has refused to ignore and damn praise singers who abound in the polity.

He also said; “As a stakeholders in the APC, I would not and cannot descend to the level of praise singing. But from every indication, President Buhari is comfortable with his new crop of friends because of their penchant to worship and praise sing him.

The APC chieftain advised President Buhari to summon the courage and thank former President Olusegun Obasanjo for telling him the truth about his government, saying that; “Anyone who tells someone carrying a load to adjust his load is a friend and patriot.”

Galadima challenged the APC spokesmen and the minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed to a debate on Obasanjo’s recent letter to Buhari, saying; “I stand here to tell you that everything Obasanjo said is the truth.”
