Barely 24 hours after he addressed his Kaduna campaign rally, Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has again jetted out of the country.
Atiku, Persecondnews gathered, has travelled to Europe for what his media aide called business discussions.
The former Vice-President had told the political rally at Ranchers Bees Stadium that he would restore peace to all parts of the country and revive industries if elected in 2023.
He also promised to stamp out insecurity in the country and provide employment opportunities for youths.
At another occasion in Kaduna where he addressed Northern elite, Atiku called himself a Northern candidate and a pan-Nigeria candidate for the 2023 poll.
Persecondnews recalls that the duo of Atiku and APC presidential flagbearer, Bola Tinubu, had met at the VIP lounge of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, while returning from Kaduna where they exchanged banters.
Atiku departed Abuja on Tuesday night on a “scheduled trip” to meet with the technical partners of one his business entities that was impacted by the COVID-19 global lockdown and the consequent economic downturn.
Atiku’s media aide, Paul Ibe, said the “meeting will also focus on conclusive discussions for a planned expansion of its production facility.”
