Political analyst Anthony Kila will no longer appear on ARISE News Channel after the network announced his removal over allegations that he falsified his academic qualifications and credentials.

According to the Editorial Board of the media outfit on Tuesday, the decision followed allegations contained in an investigative report by Premium Times, adding that it takes matters of credibility and integrity seriously.

The network said it contacted Kila on October 3, 2026, and presented the allegations to him for a response.

“Kila requested more time to respond but had yet to reply 10 days after the network contacted him,” it said in a statement obtained by PerSecondNews.

ARISE News said the allegations had intensified during that period, making his continued contributions to the channel untenable.

“ARISE News was unaware of these allegations at the time Anthony Kila appeared on our platform and as we take matters of credibility and integrity extremely seriously,” the Editorial Board added.

The network stated that it had taken note of the findings of the Premium Times investigation and that Kila would no longer appear on its platforms, effective immediately.

Kila had appeared several times on ARISE News as a freelance political analyst.
