Content creator Jarvis has shut down rumors that she called her new husband, Peller, a “womb shifter” during their wedding.

The newlywed pair addressed the ongoing viral backlash, setting the record straight on what was actually said.

Jarvis said her statement was misrepresented by some guests who attended the ceremony, leading to the circulation of a phrase she insists she never uttered.

Speaking in a video obtained by Persecondnews on Monday, she maintained that what she actually said was “tomb shifter,” explaining that the expression has cultural significance in her community.

“For those of you that came to my wedding and changed my words, I never said ‘womb shifter.’ I said ‘tomb shifter.’ In the Bible, didn’t you read where the tomb was shifted?” she said.

She explained that the phrase was inspired by the biblical account of the stone being rolled away from Jesus’ tomb, stressing that it was never intended to convey the meaning many people attached to it.

According to Jarvis, calling one’s husband a “tomb shifter” is a common expression in her village and is used as a term of admiration and respect.

“That’s what we call our husbands in my village,” she added while dismissing claims that she made the now-viral “womb shifter” comment.

The clarification comes after video clips from the couple’s wedding went viral, triggering widespread reactions, jokes and debates across social media platforms.

The phrase quickly became a trending topic, with many users creating memes and humorous interpretations before Jarvis moved to correct what she described as a misrepresentation of her words.
