After about 10 days of fruitless search for 22-year-old fashion designer at Chevron Estate, Ajah, Lagos,  Miss Oluwabamise Ayanwola, who was declared missing after boarding a Lagos Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicle, the body has been found dead.

Ayanwola was returning to Ota from Ajah on Saturday, February 26 when she boarded a BRT bus with registration no. 240257 going to Oshodi at 7.20 p.m. at Chevron Bus-Stop.

The late Ayanwola, it was learnt, had always spent weekends at Ota, Ogun State, with her sister.

A relation of the deceased confirmed the discovery of her body during a visit to the mortuary on Lagos island.

Sources said the corpse of the fashion designer was dumped somewhere on Lagos Island by a BRT bus accompanied by a jeep.

However, a good Samaritan, who stumbled on the corpse dumped by the roadside, reportedly informed Ebute Ero Police Station on Saturday evening.

“An autopsy is expected to be carried out to determine if any part of her body parts is missing,” the relation said.

Persecondnews.com recalls that the deceased, on sensing danger while on board of the bus sent voice mails to a friend on her phone, asking her to pray for her.

According to her, she became worried when the bus did not pick passenger at bus stops en route to Oshodi terminal.

She also reportedly sent a video to her friend showing how dark it was in the bus and that “There are three men and one woman in the bus. The woman is sitting at the back. That’s the number of the bus in case. Please pray for me.’’
