Nigerian comedian and singer Nasboi has urged his colleagues and other Nigerians to prioritise their relationship with God over the pursuit of wealth, reminding them that no amount of money is worth more than their faith.

The entertainer, in a message shared on X, advised those working towards financial success to put God first, stressing that life is uncertain and nobody is guaranteed tomorrow.

“Seek God first. That billion dollars you seek, what guarantees you that you will wake up tomorrow to enjoy it? Put God first,” Nasboi wrote.

He cautioned against allowing the desire to accumulate wealth to overshadow one’s spiritual life, noting that financial success should never come at the expense of a relationship with God.

According to him, no amount of money can compare with the value of maintaining a strong relationship with one’s Creator.

Nasboi also reminded his followers that death makes the pursuit of material possessions less significant, as nobody leaves the world with the wealth accumulated during their lifetime.

“I have never seen anyone buried with their wealth. We came into this world with nothing, and we will leave with nothing,” he stated.

The comedian’s message did not suggest that people should abandon their ambitions or stop working towards financial independence.

Rather, he encouraged them to maintain a balance between their aspirations and their spiritual commitments.

“Chase your dreams, build your wealth but never forget the One who gave you life. Seek God first,” he added.
