Actor-turned-Christian cleric Don Richard has officially debunked online rumours regarding his death, assuring fans and colleagues that he is alive and well, expressing his sincere gratitude for the public’s ongoing support.

The controversy began after unverified reports spread across social media suggesting that the former Nollywood actor had passed away, sparking confusion and concern among fans who have followed his journey from entertainment into ministry.

Don Richard has, in the past, been in the news over health-related challenges, a period that also drew attention to claims of neglect within parts of the movie industry when he was reportedly struggling financially and medically.

During that difficult phase, actress Biola Bayo stepped in through her platform to rally support, helping to raise funds for his care and drawing public attention to his condition at the time.

Addressing the latest death rumour, Don Richard took to his social media page to strongly refute the claims, insisting that he is very much alive and asking the public to disregard false reports being circulated by bloggers.

In his words, he wrote: “My fans and friends i really appreciate you all You all will not fall. i dey alive ooo,, the bloggers should continue there bad posting, God will judge them amen.”

The post, though informal in tone, carried a clear message of frustration at the spread of misinformation, as well as appreciation for supporters who reached out to check on his wellbeing.

Following his clarification, several well-wishers flooded the comment section with relief messages, with user Bukky Fagbuyi writing, “Oluwa seun,” expressing gratitude that he was safe.
