In a shocking turn of events, Maiduguri, the bustling capital of Borno State, was shaken by a series of blasts on Monday, with many feared dead and injuried.
Reports from Zagazola Makama, a specialized outlet dedicated to tracking insurgent activities in the Lake Chad area, indicated that one of the detonations took place at the city’s primary marketplace right after the evening meal breaking the fast at approximately 7 p.m.
Makama also said further blasts occurred near the gateway to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, heightening concerns in the area.
