Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has opened up about one of the most challenging periods in her life, revealing that she was recently evicted from her residence by her landlady.

The actress shared her ordeal in a heartfelt TikTok live session, appealing for understanding and support from her fans and the public.

Halima explained that she had intended to renew her rent, but the eviction came unexpectedly, leaving her in a precarious situation.

Adding to her distress, the actress also revealed ongoing health challenges, noting that she is still receiving treatment and coping with the physical and emotional strain that comes with it.

The difficulties, she explained, have been long in the making. Halima recounted that her troubles began years ago when she experienced a period of personal and professional setbacks that led to a dip in her career.

Once a prominent face in Nollywood, she has struggled to regain her foothold in the industry, navigating periods of limited roles, inconsistent work, and financial strain.

Despite these hurdles, Halima said she has continued to push forward, seeking opportunities to reclaim her place in the spotlight.

Her recent eviction, she lamented, is part of a long string of challenges she has faced while trying to rebuild her life and career.

In her emotional plea, Halima stressed that she has been transparent about her struggles from the start.

She urged her followers not to abandon her during this trying time, highlighting that she has been facing hardships for years.

“God bless you all. I will put you guys along, okay. You will see everything, you’ll see it from the hospital. Do not abandon me at the time of my need. I am not hiding it from Day One that this is what I am going through.

” For 9 years, you guys still know. We don’t eat money meant for something; God doesn’t want that. Everywhere there is no help, I have looked,” she said.
