The finishing point is at the Velodrome inside the MKO National Stadium.

The marathon will feature at least 30 elite athletes from Kenya, Ethiopia, and Nigeria, and other African countries, Persecondnews reports.

The organizers announced this at a news conference in Abuja on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has issued a traffic advisory, informing the public that the marathon route will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday.

The achievement is a significant milestone for the second edition of the marathon, which is expected to attract top athletes from around the world.
