Joint US-Israel Assault on Iran to Thwart Nuclear Ambitions, Trump Declares

American President Donald Trump has defended a collaborative armed offensive targeting Iran, conducted in partnership with Israeli forces.

On Saturday, Israel’s defense chief, Israel Katz, released a declaration framing the assault as a strategic effort to neutralize dangers posed to Israel’s security.

Trump, in a clip shared on the platform X, disclosed that the mission focuses on blocking Iran’s path to atomic armament.

“A short time ago, the United States military began major combat operations in Iran,” he said.

“Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime, a vicious group of very hard, terrible people,” Trump continued.

He pointed out how Iran’s actions pose direct risks to America, its military personnel, foreign installations, and international partners.

“For 47 years, the Iranian regime has chanted ‘Death to America’ and waged an unending campaign of bloodshed and mass murder, targeting the United States, our troops, and the innocent people in many, many countries,” the president stated.

Trump cited historical events such as the 1979 seizure of the American diplomatic mission in Tehran, the 1983 explosion at the Marine facility in Beirut, and the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole.

“Iranian forces killed and maimed hundreds of American service members in Iraq,” he added.

“The regime’s proxies have continue to launch countless attacks against American forces stationed in the Middle East in recent years, as well as U.S. naval and commercial vessels and international shipping lanes,” Trump noted.

“It’s been mass terror, and we’re not going to put up with it any longer,” he emphasized.

The U.S. commander-in-chief charged Iran with supporting insurgent organizations throughout the region, notably Hamas.

“It was Iran’s proxy, Hamas, that launched the monstrous October 7th attacks on Israel, slaughtering more than 1,000 innocent people, including 46 Americans, while taking 12 of our citizens hostage,” he said.

Trump labeled Iran as the leading global governmental backer of terrorism and reaffirmed a strict stance against its nuclear pursuits.

“It has always been the policy of the United States, in particular, my administration, that this terrorist regime can never have a nuclear weapon,” he declared.
