Uzor Arukwe Threatens Legal Action Over ‘Wicked’ Marriage Breakup Rumours

102

Tensions are mounting in Nollywood as actor Uzor Arukwe threatens legal action over “wicked” and defamatory claims linking him to an alleged rift between reality stars Teddy A and Bambam.

Social media has been abuzz with unsubstantiated rumors suggesting Arukwe played a part in the couple’s rumored separation—allegations the celebrity pair have neither confirmed nor addressed.

Though Teddy A and Bambam typically keep their private lives guarded, online speculation has intensified, dragging Arukwe into the spotlight.

Disturbed by the narrative, the actor broke his silence with a scathing statement, completely distancing himself from the drama and condemning the reports as a deliberate attempt to tarnish his reputation.

“A specific account has been identified to spread false rumors and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry,” he said.

“I choose not to quote the account directly, as I refuse to give such accounts the engagement they seek.”

The actor maintained that the allegations were not only untrue but maliciously crafted to generate online traction at his expense.

According to him, the situation goes beyond gossip and has crossed into the realm of defamation.

“Believe me when I say this: that individual will be made a scapegoat so others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout and Elon Musk money at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation,” Arukwe warned, signaling that legal consequences may soon follow.

Although he refrained from naming the individual behind the claims, industry insiders suggest that his legal team is already compiling evidence, including screenshots and digital footprints, to trace the origin of the defamatory posts.

Sources close to the actor reveal that Arukwe is particularly concerned about the impact of such rumours on his brand and professional relationships.

Known for his disciplined approach to his craft and steady rise in Nollywood, the actor has built a reputation centered on professionalism and integrity.

Meanwhile, fans of the actor have taken to social media to express support, urging him to protect his name and warning bloggers against reckless reporting.

Many described the allegation as unfair and called for greater responsibility in digital journalism.
