In a strategic move to bolster security in the nation’s capital, the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) and the Nigeria Police have agreed to collaborate and synergize in addressing security challenges facing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Specifically, the two security organizations agreed on collaboration, intelligence sharing, and mutual support in achieving sustainable peace and safety for residents.
The agreement was reached during a courtesy visit by Group Capt. H.S. Ibrahim, Commander of the 053 Nigerian Air Force Base in Abuja, to FCT Police Commissioner Ajao Adewale at the police command’s headquarters in Garki II, Abuja, on Tuesday.

The statement reads: “The Commissioner of Police expressed his appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed the Police Command’s commitment to maintaining a strong working relationship with the Air Force and other sister agencies.
