Nigerian Afro-pop singer Humblesmith has announced the postponement of his much-anticipated Afrobongo Fellowship – Jos Edition – following the passing away of his mother.
The artist cited this heartbreaking loss, along with other personal reasons, as the reason to take time off for healing and recovery.
In a statement, Humblesmith expressed gratitude to his fans for their continued support and understanding during this difficult time.
“This is a very tough period for me, and I appreciate all the love and prayers. Losing my mother is a pain I cannot describe, but I know she would want me to stay strong. I need time to process this loss and come back even stronger for my fans.”
As a tribute to his late mother and a celebration of all mothers, Humblesmith noted that he will be hosting a special IG Live performance on March 30th.
The session will honour motherhood, love, and resilience—values that have played a significant role in his journey.
He reassured fans that new dates for Afrobongo Fellowship – Jos Edition – will be announced soon, promising an unforgettable experience upon his return.
