Why I no longer manage Emmanuella and Success – Mark Angel opens up

84

Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator Mark Angel has revealed that he is no longer managing the careers of child comedy sensations, Emmanuella and Success.

The announcement, made during a TikTok live session on Wednesday, has sparked conversations among fans and industry insiders.

Mark Angel clarified that the decision stemmed from his increasingly demanding schedule, which has made it challenging to balance management responsibilities alongside his creative projects.

“I no longer manage Emmanuella and Success. They are now being handled by a professional agency because I have more work now and am too busy to manage them,” he explained.

This change comes amid recent controversies involving former crew member Denilson Igwe, who accused Mark Angel of financial exploitation.

However, Mark dismissed speculation linking his decision to the allegations, emphasising that the move was strictly due to his professional workload.

Fans of Emmanuella and Success have grown accustomed to their strong association with Mark Angel Comedy, which has brought viral skits and international acclaim to the child stars.

Addressing concerns about their future, Mark reassured fans that he continues to collaborate creatively with the young talents despite stepping back from their managerial roles.

“They are in good hands,” he stated, highlighting the expertise of the agency now managing the duo. “I still work with them, and we’re all focused on producing quality content for our fans.”

The shift marks a significant change in the dynamic of one of Nigeria’s most successful online comedy collectives. Emmanuella and Success, both known for their impeccable timing and relatable humour, have grown into household names under Mark Angel’s guidance.

As fans react to the news, many have expressed hope that the new arrangement will allow both parties to thrive.

Social media has been abuzz with speculation about how this change will impact future content from the Mark Angel Comedy brand.

While this transition may signal the end of an era, it also sets the stage for exciting opportunities for all involved.

Emmanuella and Success, now under professional management, are poised to take their careers to new heights, while Mark Angel continues to expand his creative empire.
