Nigerian music artiste Fireboy has weighed in on the ongoing feud between fellow stars Wizkid and Davido, stating that disagreements among artists are perfectly normal.

“Everyone should just focus on what concerns them. Let artistes be artistes, fans be fans, and the media keep telling the stories,” the singer advised, adding that conflicts in the music industry are not out of place.

“Beef, everything is all normal. We are all humans,” Fireboy commented on the recent clash between Wizkid and Davido.

In an interview, Fireboy made it clear that he prefers to stay out of such dramas, emphasizing his desire to lead a peaceful and drama-free life.

“I like to mind my business,” the singer said, reinforcing his personal stance on avoiding industry conflicts.

During the interview, Fireboy also delved into his latest body of work, his fourth album titled Adedamola, which features collaborations with prominent artists such as Lagbaja, Jon Baptiste, Seun Kuti, and Spinall.

The singer revealed that the collaborations with Lagbaja and Seun Kuti were suggestions from YBNL boss Olamide, who also served as the executive producer for the album.

Fireboy expressed his gratitude for Olamide’s guidance, saying, “Olamide always knows what will push me to grow, and working with legends like Lagbaja and Seun Kuti brought new dimensions to the project.”

People have praised the album for its rich diversity and bold fusion of genres.

Conflict among artists has been part of the Nigerian music scene, with tensions arising in various eras between some of the biggest names in the industry.

However, Fireboy believes these disputes, while sometimes public, are simply part of the human experience in any profession.

Fireboy’s stance on maintaining peace and focusing solely on his music has endeared him to many fans who appreciate his laid-back approach.

His latest album, Adedamola, has sparked conversations about his versatility, with many noting that his ability to collaborate with both modern and legendary artists showcases his growth.

“I want my music to transcend generations,” Fireboy said, reflecting on his desire to leave a lasting legacy through his art.

As Fireboy continues to rise in the music world, his focus remains on perfecting his craft and delivering impactful music rather than getting involved in controversies.

“My priority has always been my art,” Fireboy said, reinforcing his philosophy of staying grounded amid the ever-changing dynamics of the industry.

In addition to his focus on music, Fireboy also hinted at exploring other creative ventures in the future.

While he remains tight-lipped about specific plans, he shared his intention to continue evolving both as an artist and as an individual.

“I’m always looking for ways to challenge myself. Whether it’s through music or other forms of expression, the goal is to keep growing,” he said.
