The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, has said the synergy between the Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited will achieve the presidential mandate of establishing secure, efficient, sustainable, and affordable clean energy that meets the demands of Nigerians.

The Chief of Naval Staff stated this in an exclusive interview with Persecondnews on the sidelines of the simultaneous commissioning of the NNPC 12 CNG Gas Station across Abuja and Lagos on Thursday.

He noted that most of the country’s gas comes from the maritime domain, emphasizing the need to achieve the presidential mantra of “Gas to Prosperity: CNG for All.”

“We must all come together in unison to fight economic saboteurs,” he told Persecondnews.

Ogalla, who was represented by Commodore Oladipo at the event, said: “The Chief of Naval Staff has gone ahead to put words into action with the mandate given to him by Mr. President to enforce maritime security and put in place a blue environment where business can thrive.

“CNG is an unbelievable revolution from a brilliant and visionary leader; our commitment is unwavering in ensuring that all channels are secured.”

He pointed out: “Most of our gas comes from the maritime domain; we are partners with NNPC Ltd. in ensuring energy security. The Chief of Naval Staff is totally committed to achieving the mandate of President Tinubu.

“The synergy between the Navy and NNPC Ltd. is 110 percent; we have effective liaison almost every day; we have contact with each other.”
