Barely two days after Davido and Chioma’s extravagant wedding in Lagos, another Nollywood actress, Sharon Ooja, is set to tie the knot, keeping the spotlight on celebrity weddings this year.
Nigerian celebrities are not allowing singles to rest, as another grand wedding is on the horizon.
According to Second News, Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja is making headlines with her wedding plans.
Ooja is reportedly having her traditional wedding with her tech partner today in Abuja.
The celebration has already drawn numerous celebrities to the city to witness the historic event. The festivities will continue with a white wedding on Saturday, June 29th, also in Abuja.
Social media is buzzing with excitement and anticipation for Ooja’s wedding. Fans and followers have shared their thoughts and well wishes for the actress.
One user, Mel Closette, commented, “Since the beginning of this year, we never rest. Happy married life to everybody.”
Another user, Pretty Gonny, wrote, “Today we will see his face,” reflecting the curiosity surrounding Sharon’s mysterious partner.
Symply Rose added, “2024 came with premium weddings only,” capturing the sentiment of this year’s string of high-profile nuptials. Slayer Zones simply stated, “Love it.”

In the lead-up to her wedding, the actress recently held her bridal shower, attended by several of her Nollywood friends, including Nancy Isime and Beverly Osu.

The event was a joyous occasion filled with laughter and celebration, setting the stage for her upcoming wedding.

Ooja shared a humorous moment from her bridal shower, lamenting over the intriguing cake she received from her colleague and friend, Beverly Osu.

The cake had an inscription that reads: “You will be enjoying only one d!ck forever,” adding a playful touch to the festivities and highlighting the close bond between the friends.

Back in March, she announced her engagement and subsequent civil wedding, sharing photos of the joyous occasion.

Despite the public announcement, the identity of her husband has remained a mystery, as Sharon has chosen not to reveal his face.

In a heartfelt post, she expressed her gratitude to God for bringing her husband into her life.

Sharon also dedicated a post to fellow actress Adesua Etomi and her husband, Banky W, thanking them for their support throughout her wedding preparations.
