Nigerian sprint queen, Tobi Amusan, has won the women’s 100m hurdles round 1 heat at the 13th Africa Games in Ghana.
Amusan won the heat in style and finesse with a time of 13.03s.
By virtue of her victory, she secured a spot in the semis of the women’s 100m hurdles.
Amusan is on course to clinch three consecutive gold medals at the African Games.
Persecondnews reports that Nigeria is just one medal away from being the first country to achieve 300 medals in athletics at the African Games.
Team Nigeria maintained its second spot on the medal table of the All African Games, clinching 31 gold, 22 silver and 32 bronze.
