Emmanuel Orekoya, a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lagos, has been hauled before the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court on allegations that he had raped and impregnated his 17-year-old daughter.

Persecondnews reports that the Lagos State Government has slammed a two-count charge of illicit sexual intercourse and sexual assault against the defendant.

Additionally, it was learnt that the defendant after serially having sex with her, impregnated her.

Mrs. Abimbola Abolade, the state’s prosecutor, informed the court that the defendant had committed the offences sometime in 2017 at Jacob Adeleye Street, Odoeran, Itire, Lagos.

Additionally, the prosecution testified in court that Orekoya had sexually abused the girl by fingering and putting his penis inside her mouth on several occasions.

The prosecutor said that Orekoya’s actions violated Section 137 of Lagos State’s 2015 criminal code.

The accused entered a not-guilty plea to the offences.
