From heartbreak to hits: DJ Cuppy says she’s ready to drop more hit songs in 2024

DJ Cuppy, the daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, is poised for a significant presence in the music industry as she prepares for a dynamic 2024.

Her recent single, “Jollof on The Jet,” has gained traction across music and social media platforms and the disc jockey has promised more.

According to her, inspiration behind the song stemmed from a lighthearted conversation during a private jet trip with her music producer, Killertunes.

Playfully discussing the idea of enjoying Jollof rice on a private jet, Cuppy decided to transform those words into music.

She revealed that she collaborated with Rema and other African artiste, resulting in a special rendition of the song.

Despite facing what she described as the worst heartbreak in 2023, DJ Cuppy has shared that she has moved on and is now channeling her focus into further developing her music career.

The artiste said she is determined to release more songs in the upcoming year, building on the success of her recent work.

Cuppy encouraged her fans to continue supporting her latest single, emphasising that more musical gems can be anticipated from her in the coming year.
